Kanha National Park Safari Booking

Safari bookings for the monsoon season (July 1 to September 30) are now open in the buffer zones. For those planning to visit the core or buffer zones from October 1 onwards, bookings are also available in advance. It’s a good idea to reserve your safari slots and stay options early to enjoy a smooth and stress-free wildlife trip.

Bandhavgarh National Park safari tickets can be booked up to 120 days before your visit. You can reserve them online or with the help of approved travel agents. Kanha Safari Zones

Kanha National Park has four main core zones, each offering a unique jungle experience:

Kanha Zone – This is the most visited area and is famous for its regular tiger sightings and variety of wildlife.
Mukki Zone – Known for its beautiful views, this zone has thick forests and open grasslands where you can see big animals and predators.
Kisli Zone – Easy to reach and full of greenery and wildlife, it’s a great option for a balanced safari.
Sarhi Zone – A peaceful zone where you can spot barasingha and other less common animals in a calm setting.

Buffer Zones of Kanha National Park

The buffer zones of Kanha National Park act as a safety belt around the core areas. These zones allow controlled human presence and still help in protecting wildlife. They are less crowded and offer a great safari experience.

Khatia Zone:

Close to the main entry gate, this zone is easy to reach and often gives good views of wild animals.

Sijhora Zone:

A calm zone with lots of greenery, perfect for bird lovers and sometimes even tiger sightings.

Phen Zone:

Treated as a separate sanctuary, this area is great for eco-tourism, nature walks, and spotting animals like deer and antelope.

Khapa Zone:

A peaceful and lesser-known route, ideal for travelers who enjoy quiet safaris and want to see wildlife without large crowds.
