You can book your safari ticket up to 120 days before your travel date. It’s best to reserve early to get your preferred zone and time slot.
What Details Are Required?
For each visitor, you need to give:
Full Name

Gender
Nationality
Valid Government ID number (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)

Safari Cancellation Rules
If canceled more than 30 days in advance: 50% refund is given.
No refund is given if cancellation is within 30 days of your safari.
Safari permits once issued cannot be changed or transferred to another person.
Visitor Guidelines
Carry ID
You must bring the same ID you used at the time of booking—this is needed at the entry gate.
Be On Time
Arrive at the entry gate at least 30 minutes before your safari begins.
Important Rules Inside the Park:
Don’t litter—use the bins provided.
Stay quiet to avoid disturbing animals.
Do not get down from the safari vehicle at any time.

Staying inside the core zone is limited. However, many comfortable resorts and hotels are available near the park gates with options ranging from budget to luxury.

The park is easily accessible by road. Taxis and buses are available from nearby towns.
Best Time to Visit
Bandhavgarh remains open from October 15 to June 30.
To see tigers and wildlife easily, the summer season (April–June) is ideal, when animals come near water sources.

Bandhavgarh is full of wild animals and plants:
Mammals: Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, jackals, hyenas, sambar deer, and more.
Birds: Over 260 types of birds like Indian grey hornbill and green-headed barbet.
Plants: Around 500 types of plants, mostly thick Sal forests.
